My name is Danier Muñoz but most people call me “Dani” (maybe because it is an unusual name). I am 18 years old and I live in a town named Santa Ana which is located in San Jose, Costa Rica.

In my free time, I enjoy listening to music and spending time with my family and friends. However, it is really difficult to share with them because of university and my full time job. I work as an accountant at KPMG. One of the most rewarding things about working in this company is learning about different markets and types of business. Also, I study accounting at ULACIT since January 2014, I really enjoy everything I do.

The most important things in my life are God, my family and my best friends. God gives me lots of blessings every day as much as challenges but I consider myself as a real go getter. So if God is with me, everything is going to be okay, no matter how difficult it is. I can proudly say that although my family is not perfect, I would not change it. We always keep in touch and love each other. I have four siblings but I only live with one brother and my parents because the other three are already married. Even though I am the youngest, I do not feel as the pampered of the family.   

Nowadays, people use the word “friend” in a variety of ways. A friend can mean anything from a casual acquaintance to someone you’ve known since childhood. For me, they are essential part of my life. I have lived unforgettable moments with them and they have provided me emotional support. They say I am funny even though I might look too serious at the beginning. It does not mean I am always joking because I am really hardworking. Also, I consider myself as a friendly, persistent, responsible, easygoing, honest, optimist and very polite person who likes helping others, someone people can rely on.

I think dreams make life meaningful and when we follow them, life turns more enjoyable. It is true that achieve them can be really hard but at the end, it will be more rewarding. Some of my personal goals are: graduating from college, traveling and know as many new places as possible, having my own business and be in charge of some social responsibility programs.

Love is probably one of the most frequently used words in English and also one of the most important in my life. I think love is the power for healing the world because when you love others, problems get easy to solve and if you love every single thing you do, everything will be alright.

Everyone has strengths, weaknesses and too much to learn and I am sure that God will help me to achieve my goals by walking beside me.  

My expectations for English IV are based on improving my speaking skills by learning new vocabulary, idioms, pronunciation and structures to speak more fluent and sound more natural. At the same time, increase self-confidence when giving oral presentations or answering the phone.
