This week, I worked on Compound Adjectives to continue on my goal of improving my English communication skills. Therefore, I decided to surf the internet with the idea of finding good websites and that is what actually happened.

On Woodward English, there is an excellent explanation about what they are and how to use them. People must bear in mind that hyphens are really important when making compound adjectives. It is not the same to say “I saw a man-eating alligator” than “I saw a man-eating alligator”, just that little punctuation mark can make a big difference in meaning.
